Ordered a Rubicon 392 yesterday w/XR and tow package. It’s a pricey beast but owners say it’s worth every penny. Dealer said to expect a 4-9 month wait.

My dealership said 6-8 weeks. Wonder what the difference is....

My dealer just confirmed my build date will be 8/25. I ordered 6/15.

I ordered on 7/5 and just received the email from Jeep that my order has been received and has my order number on it. I'm excited as I've never ordered a vehicle before. The wait will probably drive me nuts.

If your dealer told you 6-8 weeks for a 2023, there is zero chance of that happening. Production doesn't even start until August.

Kinda was my thought, I have never even ordered a vehicle and will be a new jeep owner, which is why I was reading here for real answers lol. Next time he calls me, I plan on calling him out on that.

Have you checked with your dealer because that stupid tracker is more useless than Jeep Chat. Mine still shows no VIN and nothing other than order confirmed and scheduled. I asked Jeep Chat for updates three times. The first person gave me my VIN. The other two people told me there wasn't a VIN yet and none of them gave me a build date. I finally decided to bug my dealer and he gave me the VIN and the build date. That was several days ago and Jeep Chat and the worthless tracker still give me nothing.

Yes I did check with the dealer. The guy that does their orders has been doing it a long time. He said it had a VIN and gave it to me. I got on line with chat and the guy was a slug. Couldn't answer a straight question and was acting cute. Then he cut me off and left the chat. Finally I got back on line and got him again and jumped his a##, he did give me a VIN and it did match what the dealer gave me. But the other lady I talked to on the telephone with Jeep could not find a VIN at all. Even though she had the order code. So I checked one more time with a Jeep chat person and that person found the VIN. So 2 Jeep Chat people found it two different times, my dealer provided it, and one Jeep chat person couldn't find it. What a hot mess lol. At least it shows my exact build on the site when I put the order number in. The real cherry on top for me was when my ordering manager emailed the factory or regional rep and they said no worries they have the order and it will get built. So I am in chill mode now. Like a person mentioned earlier. I know there are issues but I think since the 23s aren't being built yet, its messing things up more so. I may be wrong. Just a guess.

I am placing my order next week and just check the 'Build" on Jeep.com, looks like the Snorkel is no longer available (it was yesterday when did my build). That is the bad news.

In addition, I was able to get the 8 sp with a 3.6 E Torque and the price has dropped from $3750 to $2000 on the trans. That is the good news.

1 the bad news: Snorkel no longer on the option list

1 the good news: V6 E Torque available with the 8 sp auto trans...HUGE price drop, from $3750 on the trans down to $2000 as of today.

Ordered a Willys on 6/27. VON the same day. Had VIN from dealer on 7/1. Jeep acknowledged the order on 7/4 (email). No schedule yet.
