So would having snow pile up on the top during the winter cause any issues, caving in or leaking on the SkyView one touch.

I could tell you, but then....
Curious on this one as well. I never had an issue with my previous soft top and the SOT seems to have more bracing, but still interested in some real world feedback.

Looking at some here in Virginia too. In the garage charging but the bulk will be while I’m at work in the morning.

What say ye northern and north western SOT owners?

I’d doubt you’ll have any problems from snow accumulation on the top. Never gad any issues in Michigan and Iowa with standard soft tops on older Jeeps. I would NOT attempt to open the top when the weather is cold, nor would I drive without brushing it off first just cause (the top on ANY vehicle should be brushed off before ya drive anyway). If it leaks or collapses/ bends from snow you’ve got a defective product.

My son has a 4XE with the SOT. We just had about 6” of snow in Big Bear over the holidays. Not a lot, but no issues with the top.

Same here, my sky one touch top accumulated about 4+" of snow on it with about 1/2" of ice underneath the snow. I didn't observe any leakage or damage to the top or the fabric yet. I am going to clean it up tomorrow so will update if I find anything of concern.

I also just applied BesTop twill protectant to the top prior to the ice and snow.

I’ve had no issues with mine, and its seen 4-6” of heavy, wet, Ontario snow. Condition the seals at least once a year and it’s golden.
