Smartwatch/Bluetooth issue

So I've noticed that when I start the jeep, my phone connects just fine to uconnect. My watch remains connected to my phone as well. As soon as I get out of the jeep, my phone drops connection to the jeep, and the watch. I have to manually reconnect the watch everytime I get out.

Phone is a Samsung note 8, watch is a Samsung gear s3.

Everything worked flawlessly in the jk.

Any other smart watch owners notice anything similar?

Also, my phone just autocorrected Uconnect, to unconnect. Perfect, haha.
