Yesterday I was out and about and when I climbed a couple of steep grades the motor ran awfully hot, up to 240 degrees. I slowed down from 65 or so and the temp came down. This morning I checked my coolant and it was at the low line in the main reservoir. It looked pink. There is also a small container towards the front of the motor where the washer fluid reservoir is. I oped it and it was very low and looked like dirty water, no color.
Why would this not have the same color as the main reservoir?
Why would its level not be roughly the same as the main? Seems like they are connected in some fashion.
Does anyone have a manual for the 2.0L coolant and could share the coolant system pages? I wish I could buy a printed manual.
Thanks in advance for any help.

The little one in front is for the turbo. It uses the same coolant as the one for the engine. I've had to add coolant to the engine reservoir on numerous occasions, but never to the one for the turbo. I don't believe they are connected.

Thank you. Seems odd they wouldn't share.
