Hey,

Damn! A 35" mud tire is HEAVY. Specifically, Milestar's Patagonia MT (68lbs) with a 17" wheel (30 lbs).

Loaded the spare onto the spare tire mount of a JLU Sport S. Made me a little worried. Who's driving around like this? Any issues to date?

I'm also shocked Mopar's Oversized Spare Tire Carrier goes for $275+.

Thanks :)

I believe it is the same hardware as the rubicon. I’ve had mine on for 6 months no issues.
If you research on here there’s Ace engineering or someone who early on claimed it cause tailgate to bend...then you watch YouTube videos of them hitting it on rocks and ledges. It won’t warp it unless you are hitting it on something.
I’m sporting ridge grapplers which are on the heavier end of the spectrum. You’ll be fine for a short time if you are cautious. I plan on upgrading it in near future.
