SL load rated tires?

I am looking at the Nitto Recon Grappler A-T in 295/70R18 the Load range is SL which I guess is what come factory on the Sahara. The tire size is what I am looking for and they only weigh in at 52lbs. I plan to use these on my 2024 Sahara OEM wheels. I have two questions or concerns, will the SL be a decent tire for very light off road? Will I need to reinforce the tailgate to carry the additional weight. Looking at the Rugged Ridge Spartacus hinge, but not sure if its needed.

Yes, as long as you aren't driving over sharp rocks, and no reinforcement necessary as your total weight is <85 pounds.
