Getting closer to pulling the trigger one a relo bracket... everything I'm reading indicates that a relo bracket IS required for 35s on anything other than a Rubicon.
The question now is just which bracket to go with.
@TTEChris (reputable forum member) indicated that his Rough Country relo bracket had to be modified to work with the Mopar tailgate reinforcement kit... I'm not planning to do the reinforcement kit right now, but I'd like the option to add it without having to modify the relo bracket IF I decide I want the reinforcement down the road. RC said they are working on a revision that will work with the reinforcement kits, but they still needed to get through their first iteration of product.
Next up, the SkyJacker above looks interesting - is that extra tab that sticks out of the bottom useful? Does it add any extra security or function? Do we know if the SJ relo bracket definitely works with the reinforcement hinges without any sort of modification? Lastly, we still don't know if/where we can by the SJ relo bracket and/or how much it will cost...
Finally, the Smittybilt relo bracket seems like it might be a good option - same price as the RC bracket and I *think* it work out of the box with the Mopar reinforcement if I want a "future proofed" system - though that is not 100% confirmed.
For me, the RC is probably out since I don't want to wait on the revision 2. That leaves me with SB vs SJ - assuming I cna get confirmation that either/both work with the reinforcement kit... and assuming that the SJ relo bracket is not more espensive than the SB option.
Any other ones to consider that I've overlooked?
