I just finished installing a MPS front overhead panel on my JLU with SOT top. The install should be really easy but the rear mount point for mine needed some additional bending in order to work. Without the right tools it took a good bit of the day to come up with some creative clamping to make it work. Even thought MPS provides mounting hardware I bought stainless steel button head screws thinking the sun shade I plan on installing would get snagged on the supplied screws. As it turns out that wouldn't be a problem but the button head screws were still needed for the rear. The SOT has a plastic brace that spans across the top of the roll bar behind the front seats. It's flexible enough that it can be moved out of the way for mounting. But once installed it will be resting on the screws and over time may get damaged. I used a center punch and the provided self tapping screws to drill the #8 holes. I then removed those screws and used Torx screws in the rear and standard phillips head screws for the front.
