Where do y'all land on extra fuel can/s a tall jack etc on the rear with appropriate mount...So my real question is, with a 700 or so pound weight limit on stock JL's, do I need to start thinking about a shock upgrade...heck 2 adults, the dog and say 2 5gal cans of gas, tall jack, I'm dang close to my 700...so, what kind of set up am i looking for to resolve ....follow any of that?

thanks

A shock upgrade won't increase the amount of weight you can legally carry. New shocks and springs may make your jeep more comfortable at your intended loaded weight.

Any thoughts on racks, roof or hitch mounted...seems like the hitch mount would be better so the extra weight doesn't increase jeep being top heavy...does that sound close to right? lol
