So for the second time in maybe the last two weeks randomly the service stop/start and service traction control lights have graced our dashboard while driving. And for the second time, if I turn off the Jeep and start again the error/warnings are gone and don't come back right away. I've read around enough to know start/stop light is likely due to the traction control issue root cause? It's a 2020 Sahara with 37k miles (yay just out of warranty). I've checked the fuses, all look seated well and drove around with the battery status info screen up. Normal driving it shows 13.3-.5 volts, when stop/start kicks in at a stop it goes down to 12.5 give or take? This seems normal? I assume if I don't bring it in for a code reading when those errors are lit up nothing will show on a reader? Any other ideas where to look? I've heard a range of possible causes form wheel speed sensors to vacuum pump/leak.

Have you made sure that all your fuses are seated properly?
Yes was one of the first things I checked after this second time they lit up. Everything looked seated, pushed down on each one to be sure.

Well that’s a start, I know that batteries need a boost from time to time because after a few years, they start depleting.

Do you have a trickle charger tou can put on your battery??? The main battery and secondary battery are connected together, so the main poles would be the ones to use.

Unless you have etorque ?

I have had this issue for two years and have been to the Stealership 4 times! Last time I went in with it on and told the tech to hook up and tell me whats going on......Vacuum ....they ordered new one and I'm still waiting to hear from them! This was more than 3 weeks ago!!! My guess is that it is back ordered. They know it's an issue and are going to have to deal with it! I looked up the part and it is $186.00

I changed out Both batteries which needed to be done anyways, but still happens! Every day I drive my 57 miles to & fro work and like clockwork only happens on the way home.

Do you have the small secondary battery? If so you might want to check your ground point on the frame or your battery control module hooked to the batteries.

I was wiring off road lights and forgot to reattach one of the battery grounds. Vehicle ran, but service start stop idiot light came on. Read up on what the battery control module did, and if it is damaged, it could cause the idiot light to come on.

Uneducated question, but would vacuum leak be so long between the lights tripping for my two instances? Was probably 2 weeks and 400+ miles. Are there other symptoms if it was vacuum, think I read brakes would feel off? Brought it out last evening and tried like crazy to have it trip again, did hard stops, triggered the traction control over sand etc, no luck. I'm guessing trying to grab the code when the lights aren't on won't yield anything?

I'll have to look for that (ground), I did check the fuses and all looked well and I pushed down on each one. I believe the batteries and linked serially, would bringing in for a battery health check show if one or the other were weak?

You can not grab a code after you shut down because it does not store it......Mine was random when it first started too, I read that it could also be a wheel speed sensor that can make it trip and that your wheel may not be centered and of course that your batteries are aging out (which cause many electrical issues) All were discounted then I had the tech guy hook up his laptop right when I pulled in and he said vacuum...I told him what was circulating as possible explanations and he said he had seen this a few times.

You can drop it off and have them load test each seperatly and ask them to print out a copy for you to have(of each test) ...Rhinebeck01 explained this to me. A true load test will take 4 hours per battery so dropping it off will be best way to get it done and this way you will know. I own a 2018 and although my batteries were still good, I swapped them out to better ones this July before they left me stranded. The lights still came on when I made my commute to and from work.
