Its a 2 hour drive to Sedona for me. If you're looking for some company on your adventure, hit me up. I'm sure my wife wouldn't mind at all taking in the beauty of Sedona again.

I just HAD to share with you all the beauty of Sedona Arizona. Took a day trip a few weeks ago from Phoenix to check out the new snowfall. Some of you may not believe this, but there are people in the world who have never seen snow.....namely native Phoenicians. The trip did not a disappointment at all.

never gets old! Was that Broken Arrow that was closed - turnoff to submarine?

Was wondering who had that plate - I tried that same combo when I saw how bad the 1 and I would have looked.

The closure was headed up to Devil's Staircase. Since hardly anybody was on the trail, we didnt need to pull over but twice to allow traffic through.

Awesome. The wife and I are heading to Sedona for our 10 year in July. Mostly relaxing but she approved one full day of wheeling. It'll be my first western wheeling. Pumped!!
Nice & congratulations . . . you got past the "itch year" :like: ;) :) .
If you have the time - it's a long drive ahead of you . . . take as many scenic diversions as you can once you get past the familiar areas ! i.e.; in places like Central & SW N.Y. ! Personally I've not revisited the "Flat Lands" of America in nearly 20 years - just not awe-inspiring (for my taste). But depending on your route . . . once you hit the East Slope (Rockies) . . . just about Everywhere you will be impressed ! Do some internet homework and by all means enjoy some of the YouTuber Overland jeepers (and "Toyota'es" too). Can't go wrong anywhere in Colorado or Northern N.M. and we all know about Moab, right ?
If you have any outdoorsy hobbies - mine is fly fishing (golf?) - be sure to bring along that stuff ! Binoculars are a must - a good pair . . . or if your a hunter, your monocular scope . Oh and I highly recommend taking a guided tour boat along the Colorado River (north of Flagstaff) or if you are the fly fisher - take a fishing guided trip and do both !
OK enough of me being a "Travel Agent " . . . ! oh, ps; July is gonna be one of those "be prepared" for all kinds of weather changes - extreme heat and wintry conditions / dependent on Weather, Climate, Elevation, and your Lat. & Long. !
Mid July thru end of August I'll be doing like you - but in S.W. Montana ! My route takes me from E. WA. to Dillon, MT. !

Awesome! Thanks for tips. Itll be a lot of relaxing. We arent actually driving the whole way. Flying into Phoenix and renting a Jeep from Barlow for a day (or more if I can convince the wife lol). Binoculars is a great idea. I'm just really pumped to see some of these amazing views with my own two eyes looks so incredible.

Thanks! I will see when we will actually have my "wheeling day". Might take you up on that offer. Might be a touch boring since we would be the "take a picture every 2 feet" people haha. @JLRubiTron offered to join too. Really cool to have two amazing builds offer to do a run.
