The original question was whether Safety is required to get Advanced Safety, and the answer is yes. You seem to want Safety without Advanced Safety, which is OK.Hey Guys, I placed my order for Rubi XR 1/22 with just the safety group & opted out of the advanced, as I really do not care for that option. Anyway, should I be concerned about my order now, if that is the case? That u can’t have one without the other.. My dealer told me no such thing when I submitted my order! I will send a email to dealer to verify. I wonder if that’s why I’m still in D status? Can my order be kicked back because of this?
Ahhh , I see says the blind man! Very easy to misread in my defense. Lol … Thx for clearing that up 4 me. I Still sent a email to my dealer to verify. Hopefully he can give me a positive status on my build. Thx again ??The original question was whether Safety is required to get Advanced Safety, and the answer is yes. I have both packages now on my 21 Rubi. I like the safety group for the rear sensors. That is why I opted for it on my new build. I left out the advanced as I really don’t care for that portion.I ride a bike so my vote is no safety!
I don't think you'll be upset you got the Advanced Safety. There are always contrarians, on this site and elsewhere. I got the Safety because I want BSM, etc. I got the Advanced Safety because I think the ACC is a nice feature to have if/when I want to use it, and I wanted the collision warning. I actually have the beep warning set to on, but the active braking set to off. You can tailor this how you like, and even if I don't want my Wrangler braking for me, I do want it to tell me when it thinks I might crash into someone in front of me.I placed my order last week and I went ahead and opted for both since my research showed that most people (my husband included) like both options. Also I’m told that both can be turned off if I end up really not liking it.
