Rugged Ridge Elite tail guards

I have the rugged Ridge Elite tail light guards.
The problem is that my Rubicon has the XR package.
My LED lights stick out further than on a normal jeep. .
Is there some modification that I can do so that it will work?

Take the XR extensions off......?

I did that already except that it leaves the sensor wirh open gap.
Maybe i could get this part from the dealer.

I wanted those for my XR as well. But site says quote

• Will NOT fit with OE Hinge Gate Reinforcement/Hinge Casting

I can confirm these don't work if you have the hinge gate reinforcement, XR or not. I had them on my first JLUR. FWIW you're not missing out on anything. They are made of a crap pot metal. I had one break. In addition they just cause the lights to stick even further out from the side of the vehicle. Obviously suboptimal for wheeling.
