I have a Sahara high altitude which has 20” wheels stock, and am buying rubicon take
Off wheels and tires and I want to make sure that the rubicon wheels inside diameter will clear the rotors. I’m sure they will I just am making sure bc the rotors seem large and I don’t know if the smaller diameter rubicon wheel will clear. Please advise.

Yes they will fit fine. Rubicons actually have larger brakes.
Woh, pump the brakes on this one. Pun intended. Lol

Both the Rubicon and Sahara models come standard with the Mopar big brake kit. The high altitude edition of the Sahara comes with some extra beefed up components, including a larger diameter set of rear rotors.

@Redrockjk
Can you please confirm the "snowblind" upgrades?

I guess I could be wrong as I don’t own a high altitude but I doubt the rear rotors are to big to fit 17” Rubicon wheels.

Just trying to look out. Saharas have the same exact brake rotors as a Rubicon. The Jeep employee that I paged started a thread about the mysterious upgrades in that edition.

I hear ya. I don’t want to give anyone wrong information, just would have a hard time believing Jeep would be dumb enough to make a special larger rotar for the 20 inch wheels with rubber band tires lol.

If it has gladiator rear brakes then 17’s would fit fine since gladiators and gladiator rubicon come with 17’s. Unless I’m missing something.

I don't know how to link things, but there's a thread in the general section about this. It's called something like, look what they snuck into the high altitude edition.

I, and many others, wonder the same.

That, I'm not sure about. Never paid the gladiator much attention. If it is, than it will indeed fit.

I would agree with this statement.
