Rubicon video screen

This may sound silly but I have a new Rubicon extreme recon and I cannot get the screen on without having the radio on. Does anybody know how to turn the radio off and still use the video screen for other purpose. The screen button only allows you to turn it off but not on. Thanks

I haven’t found a way. You can set the volume to 0 though.

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking as I can't imagine a scenario where you'd want video without audio as well.

I agree, it's kind of weird. My wifes ford you can hit the power button which just turns off the radio, but everything is still on.

Only way to do this on the Jeep is the mute button. It's right under the power.

Thanks I just thought I could not find the control for it but I guess there is no control other than to mute it.

Mute does the same, but I just spin the volume when at a drive in or such.
