I used to turn mine off on the down time but would always forget to turn it back on so I plugged it into the dash power and leave it on, That's the only way I can capture it all and I've learned how to cut the down time pretty quickly and speed up the rest.
I still think I forgot to turn it on for the JB trail.

It’s tough when you’re on an amazing trail and you’ve got tons of great footage. When I go to Moab next month I’ll have my DJI on my dash mount, my GoPro on a suction mount, my phone mount, my wife’s camera on her dash, and my buddy’s drone flying around. It’s gonna take weeks to edit all the video lol

Just go to the trailhead, check in and go home. In 4-19 weeks you can show us your undamaged rig with cool badge and we’ll all believe you. Seems to work on the forums anyways

When I submitted my Gold mountain badge request the Pinyon Mountain unclaimed badge was queued up so I said "what the heck" and put in the request for it. There's no way I'm sticking that badge on my Jeep so now I have a Pinyon Mountain badge sitting in an envelope on the shelf with nowhere to go.

When I submitted my Gold mountain badge request the Pinyon Mountain unclaimed badge was queued up so I said "what the heck" and put in the request for it. There's no way I'm sticking that badge on my Jeep so now I have a Pinyon Mountain badge sitting in an envelope on the shelf with nowhere to go.

I have faith that you will earn that badge one day. Just remove your fenders, and make sure you’re like 5th or 6th in line to go through the squeeze

Cutting it down and compiling into a good presentation takes time and effort. I'm still trying to figure out what people would like to see so that people will actually watch it when I publish it. I have learned to cut out the most uneventful stuff though. I always keep the raw footage in case I want to pull something out of it.
