Sorry if this question has come up before. I have a new Rubicon 4xe that I put AMP Research Powersteps on. The Powersteps are level to the ground but the vehicle has the appearance of them 'drooping' from front to rear only on the drivers side. I measured the height of all of the wheel wells (after a bunch of other measurements, investigations, and complaints to AMP) only to find that all of the wheel wells are exactly the same height from the ground EXCEPT the Drivers side rear which is 1/2 inch higher. This is very likely the cause of the aesthetic issue with the Powersteps.

In talking with others, it is not uncommon for the Wrangler to have this type of variability but I haven't come across a fix. Any ideas?

The steps look like they’re not installed properly to me. There shouldn’t be a large gap like that from front to back. Also, if your passenger side isn’t like this, that’s another indication it’s an install issue.

This 100% has nothing to do with the suspension, the part is crooked on the Jeep and you can see it's not totally horizontal to the rest of the body/frame.

Look at this old thread from here: (edit, just realized you posted in that topic too)
https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/amp-power-steps-way-out-of-whack.33920/

I don't have these myself but I would go through every bit of the install process again and inspect everything meticulously because those are either bent, incorrectly installed, or missing pieces. If there's a possibility of returning, maybe go that route if the company is unwilling to help. There's clearly something wrong with them in this photo.

Update. It was definitely a bad install (followed by an arrogant installer and AMP confirmation). Looks much better now (shim wasn’t used properly). Next time I won’t be spooked by the wiring and will just to the forum if help is needed.

I added Hammerhead Pinch Weld Covers and love the finished look.
