I an interested in my next vehicle being a Rubicon, with the intent to go off roading in Utah, Colorado, etc. In looking at used Rubicons I have some questions. I think that in 2017 there was a hard rock package that included, among other things, a stronger front axle when compared to the Rubicon. Was that true? It appears that the hard rock edition was dropped for 2018. If so, in 2018 were all of the Rubicon's upgraded to a beefier front axel, compared to the standard axle in pre 2018 Rubicons?
Is there anything specific I should be looking for in a 2018-2020 used Rubicon?
