Im pretty green here and running 37s. I'm trying to figure out what route to go to ensure I don't wind up breaking. I'm wanting to see if anyone has welded up the factory axle housings and if that would be an option with the 3 piece front axle. I've seen rears twisting a couple times due to failed plug welds, a couple that have sagged a bit and formed a bend, and that front axle that came apart at the FAD. Just trying to figure out if it's a dumb, pointless, or great idea to weld up all of these joints as new housings would be overkill for my needs and way out of my budget. Thanks for any input!

Aren't you running a D30/D35 setup? If that is right, 37s will break it at some point, regardless of what you weld, if you wheel it.

I've got the D30/D44 but yeah. I just didn't know if it was worth doing while I try to beef things up. I fixed my wording there.

I haven’t seen any truss kits out for the JL yet. If they do for the D44 FAD, Ill probably try one out.

I think Rusty's off road has on for the rear, but I'm mainly asking about options for the front.

When I had my JK I got front and rear truss kits from Artec Industries. They were top notch. Pulled the axles and had a buddy weld them up for me.
