Greetings!
Searched a bit and did not find a thread on this, but apologies if I missed it...
Has anyone installed a Rove R3 with hardwire kit on a JLU with the Adaptive Cruise Control box?
Trying to decide where to mount the camera...thinking to left of the box as the camera slides off the mount to the left, so right side would prevent removing it. Also thought about mounting it under the box, still kinda below the mirror, but wondered if it would annoy me/block vision a bit.
Next....if you've run the hardwire kit, can you advise on how you did? I have the hardtop with OEM heat shields and am not sure how to hide the wires between the camera and the A pillar. Thinking driver side so it's closer to fuse box, but don't have to do that.
Last (probably ?), how much slack did you leave for the rear camera? I want to be sure it doesn't pull when lifting the rear glass.
