I was wanting to see if anyone has used the Rough Country relocation bracket long term. I am looking at going to 37s Looks like they will weigh 20lbs more than stock tire I am sticking with stock wheels. With very little off road would this hold up. I would hate to think the tail gate was designed 20lbs from failure. Any info would be greatly appreciated

I had one with 35’s and removed it. I observed too much flexing and was worried after the body shop at my dealer told me they are repairing one Jeep per week that strips out the threads for the mounting holes due to too large of tires. The guy recommended https://www.extremeterrain.com/redrock-4x4-hd-tailgate-reinforcement-panel-2018-jl.html with slightly longer mounting bolts (which I found at the hardware store) washers and lock nuts on the inside behind the trim panel. Now I have the Teraflex Alpha HD carrier with the above reinforcement plate and nuts and washers on the inside. Everything seems great. On a side note I have a Rough Country relocation plate for sale

I currently have a 35 on the stock carrier and it fits fine. Did they change them from 18 to 19 or does the Rubicon have a different one?

My Nitto 35’s (just under 35) would not fit on the stock carrier, heavy contact with the bumper. I have a Sahara.

Almost a year with 37"s and the RC relocation. Probably 1000 miles on dirt or lighter trails. No issues that are visible.

Good to hear. Im happy with mine so far. Only thing I need to address is tire is 1/2 inch from bump stop. Need to make some sort of spacer for a little more stability

Yep, had same deal. Another forum user shared these rubber chair feet below which I installed a few months ago. I was unsure at first but once installed they seem to fit perfect and solve the issue. Available at Lowes for very cheap!
