I am a newbie with wiring and electric components but I have the RC MLC-6 for my JLU and a pair of RC black series pod lights for the cowl. Says the lights are 60 watts, I’m questioning if I can put both positive together in one terminal, same with negative.
Also how much can this MLC-6 handle? In simple terms lol if I had 4 pod lights and a light bar all on at the same time, would it be able to handle it? I’d use 3 separate terminals for 4 pod lights and a light bar

also a picture for how I put the two pod light wires together so when I turn the switch on, both light up.
Thanks

Amps = Watts / Volts In your case the 60 watt lights at 12 volts will draw 5 amps. Each circuit is rated for a max of 30 amps and is operated by a 40 amp relay. Connect all you want in parallel as long as you don't break over 30 amps, although maxing at 25 amps to give some headroom would probably be a better option.

So the pod light should only run at 5 amps out of the 30 amps it can tolerate?
I am clueless with this stuff I apologize, still learning. But I’m wondering if I added another set of pod lights, so having 4 total pod lights on the windshield, if I can put them all on the same 1 switch.

After taking a quick glance at the RC site and looking at the pod lights, I could only find pods that were 36 watts per pair to 40 watts per pair. That all being beside the point, yes you can run 4 pod lights on one switch. When making the wire runs I'd personally use 14g wire at a minimum. 14g should be good to carry 15 amps up to 10ft without any issues. That would provide a significant safety factor at minimal additional cost. You can always google wire gauge amp chart if you want a reference for different amp loads over distance.
