Anyone know if this can hold an additional 30 - 40 lbs on the front of the top? Specifically the freedom panels attached via the EZ 4X4 fliptop. I would hate to need a new hoist.
I would not try that, unless you added some additional support and even then, I would not try that. But that's just me.

Do they say anything about additional weight, in general, for roof racks or what not? Leaving aside the front-load issue I have.

I don't have my instructions anymore, but I don't recall anything about additional weight. However, they do make additional products for other parts of the Jeep.

LOL of course he's gonna make the others look bad to make his look good. If you run over a cord or other object in the way, bad things can happen. Oh and he conveniently forgot to mention that his version cost quite a bit more, plus you have to buy the wheels separately. Don't get me wrong, it looks like a nice piece of gear, but he just left all those things out of the video. IJS
