Roadmaster Baseplate for 2dr

I plan on having a Roadmaster Baseplate installed on my 2r JL Rubi. My dealer can't make the decision if they can install it on a 2dr since Roadmaster has only worked with a 4dr and won't tell him yes or no. So now they want me to wait until the 30th of July when they have someone bring a 2dr in to the plant in Vancouver, WA. I leave for Montana on the 4 or 5th of Aug.

Anyone know if the 4dr and 2r Rubi have the same front end? I Know, I am pretty sure they are, but they want me to purchase and take the risk on my money... so leaving this on here and try to contact Jeep.... LOL

I've looked over the Rubi JLU (4dr) and did aclose comparison with the 2 dr. Rubi I have. Sure looks exactly the same up front. My guess is the base plate offering would fit both.

Have you looked at Blue Ox's base plate offering?

No I haven't... Roadmaster is close by and the place that was going do the install uses them. Looking at all options though.
