DV8 front bumper with RockJock baseplate

I have a 2021 JLURD with a DV8 modular front bumper. I would like to use the RockJock base plate for flat towing.
RockJock said the baseplate will only fit the factory bumpers.
I seen pictures that look like the DV8 with the RockJock plate.
Has anyone used this setup?
Any advice on this setup?

It appears that the DV8 modular bumper is very similar to the factory steel bumper, so perhaps it would work, potentially with some bumper trimming involved. There are also other base plates. In addition to the tow bar manufacturers, look at Maximus-3.

I suggest studying base plate mounting instructions carefully in conjunction with your DV8 instructions to check for potential interference.

In the end you might find it more reassuring to get another bumper designed for towing from the start.
