I’ve owned the @fishbone Mako for just about 8 months now. It’s solid, and reliable. I bought it used, but the previous owner only had it on his ride for two months. He preferred the steel bumper group.
I’ve used it to snatch other wranglers out of water holes, haul logs off the trail, and well, look good.
Unfortunately it’s powder coat is already chipped (rocks it looks like), and the rust has started. Where the rock strikes have happened, the coating is flaking. The other issue is the fog lamp pockets are way too deep. The fogs collect mud, snow, and debris like no one’s busines.
Overall I am still happy with it, but you will need to watch them for rust.
