does anyone know if you can rest an lectrical glitch which casues a breakdown by disconnecting the battery for 30 min. I know on my JKUR things would periodically quit like the unconnect etc. If i disconnected the battery for 30 min that usually reset the enite system and no more problem. Can this be done on a JLUR? has anyone tried?

Yes, but you also need to disconnect the second set of battery leads on the main battery connectors that go to the secondary battery.

They should come up with an easy way to reboot the JL. Like maybe a 3 button sequence on the center console.

I am not sure if this will help but if it is something with Uconnect you could try the soft reset steps:

Soft Reset Instruction
1) Put your vehicle into the accessories mode (ACC or RUN)
**For keyless start (push-button) vehicles: push the start button twice without having their foot on the gas or brake pedal**

2) Hold down the Phone and voice recognition buttons, at the same time, for thirty seconds.

3) Let go of the buttons

4) Turn vehicle off

5) Open driver’s side door for thirty seconds (or until dash illumination goes black)

6) Close door

7) Restart vehicle

8) Let the media center load up and see if concern is still present
