I recently bought a 25 JL Unlimited Rubicon with cloth seats and was considering upgrading to leather. I found a listing of a pair of stock Rubicon leather seats and was wondering if it was possible to just swap them onto mine. Would that be worth the hassle or would you guys have any recommendations for leather seat covers. Thanks.

If the seat have the same option why not. Only thing I'm not sure is the airbag situation, I would keep a close eye on this one.

I agree, if options match and the price is right, the swap is the way to go.

I've always heard good things about Katzkin, I believe they only sell though certified installers, though, so you'll have to pay to have it done.

Maybe a rebrand of Katzkin, but the part is available via mopar

I purchased "leather" seat covers for my 2023 JL from Autoseatzone. The fit and customer service is great. I did front and rear with the red ribbon trim to match the red Rubicon's dash. Before installing the covers I installed heater pads on top of the cloth seats. I powered the heated seats off the AUX power and added individual switched in the center console. Covers were about $350. Ebay heater pads w/controls about $35.

Sweet, I'm looking for my LJ and I'll check them out. EDIT: Damn, they only go back to 07 or I would have ordered.

Heads up OP, this is the Katzkin quote from this morning for my LJ:

If its a 24 rubicon, it should be fine right? Im not really show how that works but I'm assuming they haven't changed much

I'd recommend getting a picture of the bottom of the seat with all the connectors (even better pics of each connector) and compare it to yours.

Hard to say. Did replace the bottom cover in my 2023 but I went with the same part number. I guess the best way is to compare part number between 2024 and 2025
