I (finally) had a passenger side tail light die- 19 JLUR, no park sensors. Before I pony up for a factory replacement, or the standard (which seems to be Oracle) I was curious if anyone has used these:
https://savvyoffroad.com/products/2...ights-infinite-offroad?variant=47831409393905

They're cheaper than a direct factory replacement or Oracle, and Savvy Offroad sells them which (in my mind) is more trustworthy than the $200ea "Factory" replacements from a few different places on ebay.

Thoughts?

It may be worth mentioning that we're currently running a 15% tax sale if you want to grab a pair of our tail lights but not pay full price! Forum members can always use WRANGLER10 to save money when shopping with us as well.

I was looking for some like that, hear a lot of Oracle ones going out. They are good about warranty I hear but would rather get some that last. Interested if anyone has these, but it sounds like they also have a great warranty. I'll prob take the chance and try them since I don't have blind spot either

I like OE LED lights. When I cracked mine, I looked on member market place here or Facebook market place. I was able to get a set for $100 or $150, I cant remember.

I decided I didn't want to pay for expensive taillights ever few years so I went this route:

They use a Grote style led insert in a flexible ring. Everyone that drives have seen this style of light on OTR tractors, trailers, dump trucks and box trucks. It's a very common light that can be found at nearly any auto parts store. Purchased from Grote they have a 5 year warranty. I've seen generic Chinese on Amazon as low as $25. Edit: $25 a pair.
Yea I know led's last 50,000 hours lmao, I've replace so many that didn't make that many hours.

From a durability, and longterm ownership perspective, that was a wise choice. They look good in their own industrial, heavy duty way.

Interesting. Are they plastic or metal plates? The LED's were included? Were they plug and play or did you have to splice stuff together?

The LED lights that fit those are available at almost every NAPA, truck stop, and trailer shop out there. The best ones are made by Grote. The oval pressure fit lights themselves are usually very affordable. Also, the rubber pressure fit surround that holds them in acts as shock absorber.

The plates/housing is plastic. It was a pain to sand the texture off so I could paint them, I like how they turned out.
Yes LED's were included, that is the ones in the image of the contents of the kit. I chose to purchase the halo type LED's on Amazon for $21. I like the look.
It's 6 months since I did the mod, as I recall if the kit is install as purchased it is plug and play.
I didn't install the diodes, I have Jscan and I changed the the taillights to LED when I had the Oracles installed.
All that being said I didn't install as they came from Rugged Ridge, I didn't document my changes and don't remember how exactly I installed. I remember I used this harness from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D3LMWZVG?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_7&th=1
The lights I used came with different plug pattern (Grote style lights have various plugs depending on style) I used these lights: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CTZTH4X...d_r=c6f1a6c5-a1d9-4e81-8f0a-22d5ab0c2794&th=1
The Rugged Ridge have gone up $60 since I purchased them last september.

Follow up: I ended up buying a replacement off eBay from TX for $117. Obviously imported from China (has chinese stickers on it). Came with the bracket that bolts into the Jeep behind it.

Did this because I keep going back and forth how long I want to keep this Jeep vs. getting a 392 (maybe).
