This would be the only other feature I really wanted. I need some air con on my tush on the hot summer days with no top and doors. I don't need power seats...just air con

So they marketed (or, provided documentation at a minimum stating so) that JL's have ventilated seats but they don't?

Shocking, lol. Doubt we'll see vented seats in the JL.

No, a leaked pre-release owners manual references them. They were never marketed or listed on any build options or anything from Jeep as part of the actual launch.

wasn't a leaked version. It was and still is on the mopar web site download page Owner's Manual PDF R2 version that I just downloaded a few minutes ago. Says "vented seats (if equipped)". Just add it to the ORP that is missing!!!
