NFAB nerf steps just arrived. Gonna try to get them installed and pictures in good sun light! Also ordered Evo lift kit and rims today. 37in ridge grapplers going on when everything arrives!

Guess I'm done early, the aft bracket, fwd hole is misaligned on the driver step. You can get all bolts in but that one hole. She was shaping up real nice too. :(

Well that sucks! They look nice though I think Rough Country has a product that looks very similar to those!

False alarm, they aren't misaligned. I'm just being to soft and didn't want to manhandle my baby. Still adjusting to my first Wrangler and all. :giggle: These are the N-Fab Nerf Steps. I ordered the Evo lift kit today and 20x10 XD rims. All those will paired with 37in ridge grapplers. Should have all that installed in the next few weeks. For now, here's a look at the steps.

I wish they would make them so you didn’t have to remove rock rails.

ACE Engineering makes rock sliders that you don’t have to remove the factory rails.

Nice I sent them an email to see when their rock rails with removable steps will be available - best of both worlds..

ACE Rails went on in 30 minutes with the help of my 18 y/o son. His first time turning big bolts. We loosened with 18” breaker-bar ratchet. Then used cordless impact gun while pulling down on the washer with fingers to get the bolts out. Easy-peasy. Then reassembled with rail in place and torqued. Looks like we might have some rub on the front bracket, but we’ll deal with that with a file or rubber strip, or both, if necessary.

You are not first to mention the rub. ACE should fix this.

I agree. But I wouldn’t have noticed that close clearance near the front bolts if I didn’t go looking for it based upon other posts.

We went yeeee-haaaw-ing to exercise body and suspension geometry and all was quiet (except for the idiots inside). No squeaks.

Any ideas of ace is working on a change to their sliders so that we don't have to rig it to not creak?
