Remote on/Off Switch for Rock Slides

I installed some electric Rock Slides on my JLU Rubicon. Inside there is a kill switch, that when hit disables the step so that they wont drop when you are inside the jeep getting out. But what this doesnt allow is to disable them from the outside.

I'm looking for recommendations/ideas to replace the switch with something that operates off of a keychain remote. Anyone have ideas?

Remember, this only controls power to the component.

Thanks, this is perfect. Ideally they build these things so you can control them with a remote, but for now just being able to kill power from the outside of the Jeep is what i am looking for.
