Thank you @codeIV for the great instructions on how to do the removal. Thank you @mango315 for doing the swap with me. Without further ado, I present a Mojito JL with red dash inserts.
I think I may need some time to determine if I like it or not. The red and green both compete for attention.

I'd do it in matching Hella Yella. I think it would look badass. Or, carbon fiber. That would look great with any color!

I like mine in the standard red, but I'd like it better in matching Firecracker Red. I might even think about carbon fiber with Jeep or Rubicon lettering in red. I may need to figure out how to photoshop to see how it would look.

here are some pics of a successful trim swap thanks to this forum...Pic18 was driving by my area and was nice enough to do all the work since I didn't trust myself...so if he sees this he can comment better on the difficulty...

I also removed my dash this weekend. To me, the hardest piece to get off was the top dash pad. The passenger side popped off very easily up until the center screw. I really had to put some muscle into popping that driver's side off...but it did pop and without any broken clips.

NOTE: Make sure the auxiliary battery is disconnected (The main battery doesn't kill power to the interior) prior to disconnecting the airbag. I disconnected the main battery and let it sit for the 30 minutes as @CodeIV mentioned and the interior lights were still on...so I had to do a little research to find that the smaller battery underneath the main battery is what powers the interior.

I’m still looking to swap my grey dash with someone for the red. Getting red and black katzkin leather interior installed this weekend and the red dash would really go well with it.

Should be easy enough. Just make sure you take your time and get a hair dryer.

Then just take the parts out (Follow my post instructions) and have a wrap place do the wrap.
