red 392 20th anv

my dealer called today said he had a 392 20th anv due in 2 weeks was i intrested i bought it unseen my only concern is its firecracker red thats a lot of red any suggestons on how to break up the red would be appreacted

Yeah, too bad it is two different tones of red. The red dash wouldn't look so out of place if it matched the exterior's red. I think I would cancel the order & just get the new & improved 2024 Wrangler, and in doing so, avoid the accelerated depreciation resulting from the outdated design.

I agree with this, plus, the
"outdated" design of the Jeep Wrangler without the new grill and movie theater on the dash may improve resale also.

I dont think that will happen....I think this was a poorly release timing when the new 2024s are already being delivered. I think the 20th anniversary will become one of the many more versions/editions that Jeep releases. Most people want the newest and greatest tech in cars nowadays. I think they will sit on the lots like a lot of the 2023s are doing so right now....Dont get me wrong I think they look great...

can easily paint the dash. just have to pick a color

To breakup the red..... Black grill, hood blackout decal, black side vent decals and at the back, black rear left fender/door handle blackout. It will look totally awesome, but will not increase in value like you suggest, since the 2024 Rubicon X has everything the same plus the better infoaintment screen and version. I know, I was fooled to think the same thing back in 2013 with my 10A.

You caught my attention at “outdated design”. I’ve only heard of a few cosmetic changes (I.e. grill) and a few new options (I.e. power seats). I’d call more of a minor refresh.

Black grill, some decals and wait it has the two tone seats and dash. Can replace the dash panels I would not I think ti will look fine with the leather panels and black and red seats.

If you really don't like red and still decide to buy it you can always do a full color change via vinyl wrap in any color or combo that suits your fancy. Then when the time comes to sell it you remove the wrap and have a brand new non scratched factory paint job.

thanks greyhawk yours looks great I am spending to much time trying to change the look of a red 392 only because it is a 20 anv I need to rethink this
