I could tell you, but then....
Got my update this afternoon. No noticeable changes. Off road pages still there. Everything worked fine afterwards, but was working great before too so nothing really to compare with.

Maybe they fixed the issue of temporarily losing speaker volume when the doors are off and the vehicle is put into reverse before uConnect is finished booting up. Won’t know until it gets warm.

Ok , after mine updated I didn’t have off road pages, as well as other apps. After a few hours all the apps including off road pages, suddenly reappeared. I think if you are missing something it takes a little time, say a few hours , for everything to reload into Uconnect.

@timn1984

Yes, give it enough time and all will undoubtedly reappear. IF, you do not want to wait "a few hours, you can get all back in the time it takes to pull a fuse and push it back in..

Just pull fuse F97 while the JL is running, wait 10-15 seconds and then push fuse F97 back in... This FORCES UConnect to reboot and get things up and running again, let say.

This F97 fuse pull ...... forced UConnect reboot, can remedy things that have occurred when UConnect has lets say hiccuped.

Does anyone know if this update applies to Canadian owners? I can't recall, do you need to be subscribed to the Sirius/Uconnect for OTA updates?

In case anyone is interested.... Using JSCAN, I have Weather Alerts , Traffic Alerts disabled and still received the UConnect update. Also, having a Tazer JL original, Tazer JL Mini, Tazer JL Lite, SmartStopStart unit or even if you just are running a SGW bypass, you will still get the UConnect update.. I have verified this by my experience and from reports by others.

I'm pretty sure this was an update to fix all of the freezing, restart issues that have been happening over the last few months. My dealer replaced my entire radio a couple weeks ago. because.... they couldn't figure out what was wrong.
I hope you’re right, but I doubt it. They have replaced my radio twice, and I opened an extensive case with @JeepCares a couple years ago. I had videos of the issue, but they couldn’t receive them, and didn’t seem to care. I demanded to speak directly with a UConnect engineer, and they refused. There was an update in 2019 that they manually installed at the dealership, that seemed to reduce the frequency of the issues I was having, but not completely. I lost all controls a few weeks ago and pulled over, rebooted using the F97 fuse. Usually I have to restart the Jeep twice to get th system back to normal, but this time, the Jeep had to sit for hours before it came back. During that time, I had no satellite radio, and fan blower speed was all or nothing. The theme of the UConnect system was different, too.

My daughter had a UConnect issue in December where the system kept rebooting, even when the Jeep was off. It actually drained her battery. We couldn’t get the system to reboot and stay on. Jeep said there was a TSB that said an update was required, but the dealership wasn’t allowed to do it, they had to replace the radio. While I love the UConnect System, it has horrible stability issues, and Jeep doesn’t seem to care about regular software updates to fix issues. I guess that’s why they are rewriting the system now.

I had my 8.4" replaced back in the fall of '19 after it rebooted randomly and frequently. A large data set encompassing when I reversed briefly and the rear camera turned on. After it crashed and wouldn't reboot during a 600KM drive they finally replaced the unit. I've only had it reboot maybe six times since then. This is the most flaky of the Uconnect systems I've owned. Every other one was rock solid. I'm beginning to suspect the hardware might be part of the culprit, either not enough RAM or the CPU is taxed and overheating causes a panic.

Yes it does apply to Canadian owners, I got mine yesterday.

I am subscribed to both Sirius XM and Sirius Guardian... But I think that it applies to all owners regardless.... You should your.
