is the new recall replacement damper that much better then the original one?....i was going to get the recall done (2019 rubicon), but is it a waste of time and i should just buy a good aftermarket one?.....

I can tell you I was running a stock Monroe from O'Reilly for a '98 Ram 1500 and it was better than the V41 the dealer just slapped on my JL. I'm running 37's

They thought they were being helpful.....

You have nothing to lose, the recall is free. Try it, you can always spend your money later. I had it done, at 26,000 miles, not because it was needed, but now I have a new steering damper. Win win
Hi, my Jeep Wrangler 2020 (45,000 miles)is having issues, when I am driving at speed exceeding 55 Mph, it shakes in the steering wheel, I do not know what to do or where to take it. I don’t have extended warranty

Check the torque on your suspension starting with the track bar bolts. Also, when is the last time the tires were rotated and balanced?
