My rear glass is rattling/squeaking especially on roads that aren't smooth. I climbed in the back and pushed on the glass while my wife drove around and the noise stopped. So I adjusted the latch and catch to tighten up the tailgate some. That helped a little but the noise is still there.
Important note: I have put Rubicon rims and tires on my Sahara. Is the tailgate, spare tire holder, anything else beefier on the Rubicon?
One last thing I thought of is to loosen the top and make sure it is back as far as it will allow so that the rear glasses is tighter against the gate.
