Rear Camera On at will Options

I own Jscan, not Tazer. I got the former when I did because it was great for configuring after market proximity locks. Otherwise I have no preference for either product.

What I would like is to be able to keep the factory back camera on for as long as I'd like, not just the 8 or so seconds it stays when the vehicle isn't in reverse gear and the camera is activated from the apps screen.

I know Tazer mini can do this. Can Jscan? Would buying a dedicated 2nd camera back there be an option with jscan to have such " rear camera remain on" capabilities.

Sometimes I carry gear that blocks the rear view mirror. Being able to use my backup camera to see directly behind the rig could be useful.

im not the expert on this at all but jscan cant keep it on, tazer uses its live function by staying connected and essentially it just keeps pushing the button for you

I use that feature with Taser but I also got a VanTop Mirror Dashcam, it gives a great rear view and it even records.
