I hate coming to the top of a steep climb and have no idea what is on the other side. Instead of getting out to take a look, a front camera would be appreciated and be a time saver.
.
Does anyone know the type of rear camera format used? I want to find an A-B switch, in the right format, and use it, along with Tazer Mini, to add a front, high-resolution camera.
The Tazer allows the rear camera to be used at any time.
For off-roading, using this Tazer feature along with a new camera, an A-B switch connected to both the rear and new front camera should allow a front, high-resolution view on demand.
Besides needing to know the camera format, so the right A-B switch and cables can be purchased, a way to flip the image is necessary.
Does the 8.4' Uconnect flip the rear image in the radio or in the camera? The same question is asked of the camera Tazer now sells.
It would be a good option for Tazer to design and sell this type of adaptor, eliminating the low-resolution camera they presently sell, replacing it with a high-resolution camera.
It can be done using Tazer's existing low-resolution camera but after seeing how nice the rear high-resolution camera looks, I want the same for the front.
Sure wish Mopar had a kit to retrofit a front camera to pre-2021 Jeeps.
