Don't you dare, brother!
I think I need pictures before endorsing this decision one way or the other…

Cheers,

I'm a member of a couple FB Jeep Groups and it's only for finding info on group trail rides and activities.

If I have a serious question or something to share about my JL I come here because I know I will receive honest and fact-based responses I can trust.

I don’t have Facebook, so I am on here by default. I guess you all are stuck with me! ?

I joined a few months before I bought my Rubicon and I have always found this forum to be very helpful with knowledge freely shared and I have tried as much as possible to reciprocate in kind. While we may have our tiffs at times and the occasional troll will raise his head, for the most part all of us are in "help" mode and more often than not if a solution to an issue is not posted, then a decent workaround is.

I was a member of a number of Jeep Facebook groups for about the same amount of time and I left all of them last night. Far too much drama and BS happening unchecked in those groups with people ready to pounce on anything posted they may not agree with despite them frequently being flat out wrong. Any attempt at correcting the information (for the unknowing who are receiving it) will either result in a massive argument, you being told you don't know what you are talking about, or being called a liar. They tend to dogpile with little to no hesitation, and I just said screw it...totally not worth my time or effort.

Great group here and thanks to all for all of the help through these past few years, it has been a blast thus far...

Special thanks to (in no particular order):

@rustyshakelford
@Headbarcode
@Chocolate Thunder
@chevymitchell
@blnewt
@Rhinebeck01
@AnnDee4444

and many others I sure that I have missed.

EDIT: Forgot a few:

@DanW
@Roky
@TTEChris
@Blu bi Kong
@Halstem1
@jaydub

@Moto_21

I feel the same way as the OP and it appears we have the same year Jeep and joined around the same time.
I agree with 99% of those he listed, but would like to add every other contributor to this forum. I don't like to exclude anyone as everyone has brought something to the table.
There are those that are intentionally trying to cause conflict, but those are so few. Politics are a factor, but we've learned to set that aside.

FU OP for not including me! :punch:

I left the W@yalife forum and YouTube channel years ago for the same reason. I came to this one only because friends told me it was different. It’s so nice to see that people here are open to opinions, don’t call people liars, or dogpile. At the end of the day, that’s what makes the Jeep culture so awesome. oIIIIIIo
