I noticed this wire/connection hanging out today when I got home. I noticed it right away, which makes me think this is new. Any ideas?

Looks like the fog light connector.

Do you have a Toad setup on it? Usually that connector is fastened to the frame.

100% normal. The connectors are waterproof.

See my edited post, it’s usually clipped to the frame where those brackets are.

mine is there too and my buddy's JT as well...

It does look like it has been messed with or has come un-taped... I'm sure you can secure it better if you wanted to.

Fog light harness. Should have a plastic push retainer which inserts into an oval slot on the frame. My connector is taped over since I have a stubby bumper with no fog lights currently
