found this guy sitting in my trunk, not sure where it came from— it doesn’t even look like it’s been used

any ideas? probably a left over part, but figured i’d ask

Those things get bent to hell the first time they go into anything. That one hasn't been used, unless it goes into something EXTREMELY too large for it. Probably a factory worker dropped it and it was faster and cheaper to grab another one than spending the time to look for it. Also a possibility it's not even from the jeep lol. Most shutters get installed into siding using those, so it could be random.

Edit - and if appropriately sized, they are a pain to get out and have a bunch of pry marks on them.

That's the type pin used to hold your inside carpets/panels and plastic shielding-!

Look for apparent holes---in the cargo area--it's notta trunk

i don’t see any apparent holes, i don’t even see a place where the plastic push pins are even used

Yeah, most ofem are torx screws, but--

Look at the black carpet against the inside walls/either side, up near the hardtop/softtop bottom, where they join the jeep--

My 2dr hasem--
