Radio cuts out when engaging Sky One Touch

Is it normal for radio to briefly cut out when engaging Sky One. Got 22 Willys XR with 8.4 and 3.6

It’s not really cutting out, the Jeep has two profiles in the radio, one for an enclosed top one for an open top. Pressing the the button switches the profile.
