Mine ended up arriving at the dealership one day less than two months.

While options do make a difference in build time, I wouldn't skimp on getting the options I wanted for the sake of a quick build. I ordered a loaded Rubi 4XE, all the major options including the half doors and it took 3 months almost to the day (ordered 12/18, picked it up 3/16). I ordered the Sky touch, trailer tow, cold weather, trail rails, steel bumpers, white letter tires, painted fenders, leather, Gorilla glass, safety, advanced safety, and being a 4xe it's also got all that extra stuff too!
It's just how it comes together and it's a crapshoot, no doubt, as there are still Oct, Nov orders in D. I think the insertion of the Beach builds definitely delays things too.

Oh yeah I agree. I was talking more about the floor mats, tub liner, etc. All the small things you can easily get aftermarket. My build is in JB right now to get the Tailgate hinge reinforcement. If it takes a while here that's gotta be more proof for the beach builds being pushed out

I had the dealer leave the production paperwork in my Jeep so I can see where it's been. It actually was shipped to a second body vendor (and labeled JB status) for the hitch installation (trailer tow) and I believe they also packed the inside with the 10 boxes, floor mats, cargo mats, + foam padding for my half doors and uppers. After that, it went KZ and the next shipping sheet was to my dealer. It's quite a yoga exercise to get all that in there and nothing is rattling around. I had pulled some of the foam out for this pic.

I am in the same boat. Ordered my 2022 392 XR 10/16/2021 and still in D Status. I got my VIN number right away. Does anyone know how long the wait is? Thanks!
I drove mine off dealer lot on 2/21.
