22 XR. Could not get the FOX axle bracket to fit. Mini sledge persuasion and still no. Could have drilled it, but instead relocated to track bar bolt with tie rod clamp. Removed old tie rod bracket and installed some replacement bolts to fill the holes.

I ran a week or two sans carpeting, prior to installing Armorlite (just because). I still used WeatherTech floor mats though. The flooring appears too unfinished and the HVAC venting exposed was unsightly. While it certainly looks good in my CJ, I was not a fan in my JL.

This is why I went track bar bolt and tie rod clamp (after messing with it for too long and not wanting to drill), notwithstanding better physical placement. Depending upon your JL, and if you could get the bracket to fit, you may still also need an “older style” tie rod bracket bolt as well...

Known issue by Fox (I had the same problem). They told me to drill the bracket, and while I could have done so without issue, they should do better…
