Haven't installed them yet, but I've got new bumpers and a winch that I plan on installing in the next couple weeks. I'd also like to level out the front & get rid of the rake. here's what I'm thinking & wondering as well:
1) before installing the items, I'll take measurements of the height at the fender flares
2) after installation, again, take measurements of the height

A) Just for conversation sake, if the height changes, lets say, 3" in the front and 2" in the rear, do I want a 3" spacer front and a 2" aft? what about the rake?

B) I'm still waiting for my steering box TSB, but in the mean time, at what point do I need to start being concerned with suspension part changes (I've already got the longer LCA's, just plan on waiting until after the TSB is performed) due to height?
a) I'm going to assume that, should I simply choose to return the height to stock and level the front, no real suspension changes are warranted...BUT! what size spacers are available? (the front bumper alone is almost 100 pounds: add in a winch & I'm wondering how much sag it will cause..will adding the rear bumper affect the height as much?)

anyone who understands the rambling, I'm be more than welcom to entertain suggestions

a 1/2 spacer up front should level u out
so 1/2" to get it to level as stock?
add any decrease in height to maintain stock height? (say it drops 1" after bumper/winch install; use 1.5 spacer to return to that 1/2" above stock for leveling?

basically the same for rear..if it drops 1/2", simply use a 1/2 spacer

so in this scenario, I"d use a 1/5 front and a .5 rear?

Mine dropped 3/4ā€ up front with a Warn 10S Platinum and Genright aluminum bumper setup. I don’t think the bumper saved much, if any, weight. I just installed a 3/4ā€ spacer up front and now I’m right back at stock Rubicon height. It looks good and level but I know when I load up for our family road trip, the ass will be sagging so I’m doing a 3/4ā€ spacer out back as well.

I did not measure before and after. I had seen a number of rubicons stock, and wife has steel bumper stock.

10s, steel front bumper, al rear (light) I just shimmed front and it's level now or level enough for me I should say.
