question for those with knowledge about outback adventure tailgate table

can this be opened with one hand? website says yes but looks like there’s two latches. i’m guessing if you hand one hand full, you have to undo one latch and then the other with one hand? thanks for any info!

I have one. Yes, both pin locks need to be pulled out, together or each separately. Maybe remove a pin or blank the hole over it you only want one lock. It will probably rattle a bit but it should still hold the table up.

You can with one hand, but it is awkward. Pull one pin, twist it a bit so it doesn't go back in, then the other one.

Goose Gear can be opened with one hand.

I believe Outback Adventures redesigned the Trailgater pins after the Goose Gear (/GP Factor) table was introduced with one-handed operation. I think the updated pins were optional at first but are now standard.

One-handed deployment of either table requires undoing 2 latches, one at a time.

This was the original one, which I bought in '18. I just installed the new one with latches in my '24.. Much easier to open, and doesn't rattle.
