Question about in Transit

I have been reading this site for a few weeks. I bought a JLUR in transit since it had everything I wanted and did not want to put in an order and wait longer. It had a VIN and the dealer said it would be 2 weeks, since it already hit their site and there is a window sticker. Its now been over 3 weeks, and it has not showed up. My JK order only took 4 weeks to get. The dealer can give no answer of when it will show and Jeep Chat the same. Does anyone know is the vehicle even on its way, it has a dual top is it just sitting there waiting on the other top? Thanks for the input

I placed an order for a Sahara on 4/9/18, 3 days to get a VIN, and was in transit 3 weeks later! I'll update when it arrives.....

I hope you get it soon but don’t let the “in transit” fool you. I ordered a fully loaded rubicon on 3/12 and it was built and “in transit” on 4/4. It is sitting in a rail yard in Utah waiting for a truck to take it to Idaho. So it has been “in transit” for longer than it took to build. If you read through some of the threads, others have been in transit for much longer due to shipment delays and lack of trains and trucks.

I ordered a JLUR on 3/24. I am now on my third ETA , June 3rd, for Selkirk NY (last stop before it gets to my dealer in northern NH).

My dealer stated he contacted the regional rep. I am guessing there won't be much he can do. Anyone have an experience that would indicate otherwise?
