Protection for doorwell interior plastic panels?

Hi does anyone know of a good way to protect this area? Any custom panel protectors or rubber sheeting I can use? Please do not move this post.

protect them from what? dirt? wear? Maybe some floor liners go up that far...

Protection from the scuffs in the picture. Seems like there should be some kind of rubber stick on panel that I can cut to fit at the very least. I cant be the only person thinking this.
