Problem started last week with the stereo while using Spotify via Bluetooth.
The sounds comes through the stereo but doesn’t appear to go through the sub. I have to have the volume cranked about twice as high as when using the radio to get similar sound level but its obvious the sub is not getting a signal.

The first day the problem started the stereo would give a “volume muted” or similar message where the volume level is usually shown. Turning the volume knob did nothing at all, message remained. (Volume was not muted on the phone).
A day or two later that message disappeared and the sound worked but the subwoofer doesn’t appear to have any input.
The problem is not the volume level on the phone or anything to do with the phone itself as it works perfectly normal in our other two vehicles.
Any ideas?

Not quite the same, but a couple days ago I had no sound with Spotify when songs were obviously playing on the app. I was using CarPlay via Bluetooth. Phone wasn’t the problem. iTunes and XM worked fine. Just not Spotify. After sitting over night the issue went away. I’m assuming it was a know bug and an update fixed it.

Might want to see if there’s an update available?

Well go figure, I un-paired the phone then re-paired it and all is good now
